Kemarin Hari Jumaat

Kemarin kejadian pelik pasai malam sebelum tu tak hujan pun tapi ta ta pagi bah, petang ribut pasiaq lepaih tu baru hujan.
Rupanya aiyiaq tu mai dari Red Sea Mountain, bila hujan lebat kat ataih gunung aiyiaq teruih lalu ja tak dan meresap pasai gunung dia mana ada pokok.
Gambaq aiyiaq bah kat luaq kabin..mujuq la tak terapung kabin..tidak naya..

Kat Sudan ni biasa la semua jenih weather experience All in one day

Pasai kemarin pun hari jumaat, boleh la pi mandi laut aktiviti menghilangkan kebosanan. Tengah belajaq mengapung. Actually laut merah ni masin lebih sikit so senang terapung.
Lagi pun tempat mandi tu jetty tempat kapai belaboh so aiyiaq laut tak la, begelora macam swimming pool ja.
Sebelum mandi, amik gambaq ketam dulu..nampak ka?

Twister!

Twisters! Nothing compared to US Tornado Corridor. But this one quite big, Normally you could spot 2-3 of smaller whirlwind about, but by my standard this one a monster..
Its only kicking up dust..I think I'll downgrade it to baby monster twister..

Its not so hot today..

Deluge in Bashayer, Port Sudan

Did I mention a splash of rain this afternoon? I wish to retract. Tonight between 9-10pm was a deluge.

It was the heaviest rain ever in the history of Bashayer. Probably, just now was the worst 100 year rain in this area. OK I am exaggerating. But both the office's and the camp's wireless antenna was blown out of its position by the howling wind that accompanied the rain, and the lightning and the thunder!

I'm sure KL folks would not give a flying donut about the rain here in Bashayer. They had too much of that recently..probably washed away their 50" plasma TV too.

Actually this post is just an escapism from my actual work. I've been lying to myself that I could finished a presentation I volunteered to give in KK next august. Up until now, I have not even manage to put together more than a couple of pages. I still have all my presentation material locked away as some electrons in my hard disk somewhere..

Oh well, thanks to our brave administrator who didn't mind to get himself wet to fix the antenna. Now we got back our internet. It would be a waste if i didn't appreciate his effort by posting a useless blog, right?

The best of Sudani weather

Today's seen the end of the 4 day sand storm. I thought Today's perhaps the best weather I ever experienced here. Yep, It was only 42 max and there was a splash of rain..although it didn't even wash away the inch thick sand.

Pale 8am sun yesterday. At least I saw the sun in the morning today.. and there were whirlwinds spotted about the vicinity to dust up the scene. Oven hot winds that is.
pasiaq..pasiaq..pasiaq..ataih noteboook aku pon penuh..arrgghh..

on my table too
the glorious sand storm

A pale 5 pm sun above the office cabin.. thats quite an office going on there..

dust collectibles in my car

Up a head towards the left, u r suppose to see four 500k bbls tanks.. can u make out anything out of that shadow?

It was 45 the other day, and my colleague recorded a 50 by the sea yesterday. All in all, the weather mange to held up the celebration planned for yesterday. The president of Sudani himself was to be among the distinguished guess, but the weather and a sudden demised of a VIP put off everything.
It was a bit disappointing coz I was expecting Kharuff BBQ for diner.. oh well, just another day.
